The Digg This! Firefox Toolbar Extension

I couldn't find any decent Firefox extensions for digging articles that just simply allowed you to submit an article and was integrated into the toolbar. So I did what any self-respecting programmer would do and created my own.

The Digg This! toolbar adds two buttons to your main Firefox toolbar and one menu. With the toolbar buttons you can quickly goto to Digg or Digg the page you are viewing. The menu allows you to goto your Digg profile or any of the top Digg categories.

When you click Digg This! a new tab will open up on the Digg submission page. The title and URL are automatically entered for you. If you select text on the page you are digging it will appear as the summary for the Digg. All you have to do is select a topic and hit submit.

Let me know what you think, especially if you find it useful.

Tip:
Select the text that you want to use for a Digg summary on the page before you click "Digg This!"
